“The provision of imaging services at a large hospital can
be a daunting experience to be sure. Storage of film is another
challenge. It is important
when doing a conversion to manage the risk and to master the details!
TeamPACS started listening to us early to assess our needs and
developed a plan to train OR super-users. Training the trainers
happened and secondarily served to create a level of enthusiasm
in the department that broadcast positive ‘vibes’ to
others, who would later train. We also had an impromptu general
session for all staff, which TeamPACS was able to put
together and conduct on short notice. Professionally, TeamPACS
is comfortable with small group and large group settings. Their
style is to not use techno-jargon, but to explain the details
of image manipulation in terms with which the audience can relate.
The surgery crew is not necessarily techno-savvy as a whole,
coming from a variety of backgrounds, which means TeamPACS is
the best choice. Questions are welcome and they are able to address
them on the run. The training experience for staff has been a
good one.”
